About the Omaha Community Partnership

Mission Statement

The mission of the Omaha Community Partnership is to ensure a safe community by:

  • Promoting collaboration

  • Providing targeted services to address unmet needs

  • Promoting education and public awareness.

Vision

The Omaha Community Partnership will be a nationally recognized leader in building a metropolitan community that is free of youth violence and illegal drug use.

 Operating Structure

The Omaha Community Partnership (OCP) is a cooperative coalition of school, community, private sector and government leaders. OCP was formed in 1991 to address violence and the illegal use and abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. A wide spectrum of community leaders come together bi-monthly to discuss innovative strategies to prevent juvenile crime, violence and illegal drug use in the metropolitan Omaha area. The board of directors works to ensure that community efforts will be coordinated and have a lasting impact.
